This is the final track on Black Moth Super Rainbow’s latest bandcamp release. It wraps up a analog-washed journey of humble ditties backed by long lonely squawks and harsh rhythmic transitions that often sound like a radio channel changing. It is also the longest track, which is fun because most of the tracks on the release barely break over two minutes.
Pittsburgh is a city that has plenty of experimental bands in it, but BMSR have managed to set themselves apart with honest catchy synth hooks, and a soulful undertone that varies between mournfully honest and playfully mind-melting. Check out the song, and the album on bandcamp, it’s only about fifteen minutes long.
