Busting down the doors with an explosive party vibe, this vibrant bass-bumping track is a hyper dash towards a good time from the colorado duo. Filled with EDM laser beams and funky horns, the livetronica goodness pulls on the strings of hip-hop, riotous raves and discotheque debauchery. Tune In, Turn on and bass drop out.

I’m sure it’s bitterly cold in the northern US right now, but Michigan resident Joey Pecoraro will warm your bones with his latest piece, “Don’t Sleep On Me”. Light and jazzy instrumentation get’s your head nodding up front, then a few verses (and chorus) from Method Man‘s “P.L.O. Style” seals the deal and brings it home.
There’s something about Kitty that has me forever rooting for her. She has worked with a diverse group of really cool producers and her Soundcloud is littered with awesome tracks she’s discovered and reposted. “MISS U” was my favorite track on Kitty’s FROSTBITE EP, released back in November, and I’m thrilled to see an artist like Jai Wolf give it the remix treatment. Jai slows the song down a bit, giving it room to breath and build, eventually climaxing with a glittery explosion of skittering hi-hats and colorful synths.
Hot damn! High-octane electro trio Savoy just dropped “TEKNOTIZE”, a raging techno-trap banger with classic verses from Notorious B.I.G.’s “Hypnotize”. If this song doesn’t fire you up, you may need to check that pulse of yours. Also worth mentioning: the crazy cover art… Awesome.
There’s some serious firepower behind this remix of Wiley’s “And Again”. Doshy, Bleep Bloop, and The OriGinALz team up to deliver a calculated and chaotic banger that perfectly frames verses from Wiley and a snarling chorus from God’s Gift. UK grime is widely predicted to become more prevalent in the US this year, and remixes like this ensure that we Americans take notice.

Quietly releasing a stream of quality songs over the past month, Holy Rain is establishing a tight and ethereal sound that’s due to receive plenty of recognition. “Reach” starts out spaciously elegant, but ascends into a thumping instrumental with driving bass and softly echoing piano keys. It fades out around the two and a half minute mark, only to return in glorious fashion with a pulsating kick drum pattern that finishes off the song with an exclamation point.

Both Lux Natura and Tobias excel when it comes to organic and relaxing instrumental music, so a collaboration between the two makes perfect sense. This type of music creates a calming mental image for me every time I listen. Am I at my desk right now or am I laying on a bed of soft pine needles in the forest? Take a listen; “Through the Pines” feels like a stream of warm water trickling through your mind.
Anticipation continues to build for Conrank’s NOT WITHOUT EP… I’m impressed with how he’s pulling off such unique and exciting sounds here. Frantic spanish guitar riffs are interrupted by churning bass and fluttering synth beeps; elements that really have no business being together, but Conrank pulls it off and makes it work to great effect.
