ODESZA had one of the best albums of 2014 and I’m thrilled that their musical output hasn’t let up since it’s release. Here they remix fellow EDM heavyweight RAC‘s “We Belong”. It’s sparkling and bouncy– a feel-good fusion of electronic, indie and pop.
I just found out about this guy Skamp and I already can’t get enough. It’s impossible not to nod along to the Adele sampling “Panic”, and his chilling take on ZHU’s “Faded” is simple and effective—one of the best remixes of the song I’ve heard.
I love when an artist has the ability to transform the way you’re feeling with their music. Future R&B/electronic duo Haliia achieve it to great effect with their new track “A Song For You”. It’s subdued and melancholic, with crooning vocals reminiscent of the Gorillaz’ Damon Albarn. Enjoy.
As a longtime fan of OZZIE, I’m proud to premier one of my favorite tracks from his latest release, UNTITLED. “Wifey Riddim” stands out as the most laid back instrumental in the collection, smoothly gliding along with an infectious acoustic guitar riff and an enchantingly pitched vocal sample. Check out the rest of UNTITLED after the jump.
Get a load of the stabbing synths and smoking snares in the latest heater from S-Type’s new EP “SV8″. And in case you missed it, check out the S-Type and Lunice collab, “Casper”, here.
Drake’s sultry and soulful label-mates, Majid Jordan, get a bouncy remix treatment by fellow canadian The Theorist.
S-Type has just dropped the first track from his upcoming EP “SV8″ and already my anticipation for another taste is through the roof. “Casper” is a collaboration with electronic trap god Lunice that strips out the bells and whistles to deliver an icy and concise banger of a beat.
